Out with the Food Pyramid and in with ChooseMyPlate!
The USDA recently updated their recommended food group illustration, it was formerly the food pyramid and now it is a plate. Half of your plate should be filled with fruits and vegetable and the other half with grains and protein. It also includes a glass representing dairy.
